At ACLSFAST.COM, we offer medical professionals (Unfortunately at this time we can not extend our services to Alaska residents) the opportunity to meet their recertification requirements with PALS online. Participants in our courses get the convenience of studying from their homes or workplaces while still meeting the continuing education requirements for their professions.
Our PALS online certification course is designed to work around participants’ busy lifestyles and personal needs. With our course, individuals are allowed to choose the study materials that best fit their learning styles and study at their own pace. The materials for the certification exam are based on the most current published clinical recommendations of the American Heart Association (AHA).
It is strongly recommended that you use this course to your benefit and use it only if you have previously taken and passed an PALS provider course, as you will need to pass the online exam/skills check off. The exam is for the use of medical professionals who are renewing or recertifying their PALS credentials, not for those initially taking their certification.
If you need to retake the exam, you will be allowed to do so, up to three times, If after three attempts you are still unable to pass the written exam, you will need to take the additional time needed to study and return only when you are absolutely ready to retake the exam. You will not be given a fourth (free) attempt if you fail a third time, so study hard.
The final written exam is comprised of 33 multiple choice questions. (We highly suggest taking a practice exam) Once the exam is completed, it is graded immediately and a grade is shown. Users must score at least 84% to pass. Certification is good for a period of twenty-four months and follows the most current ECC compliant guidelines.
Once you have chosen and paid for a course, you may log on at any time. Review the education material and print any that you wish to print. It’s all done at your own pace. When you are ready, take the examination in the comfort of your own home or office. You will have four hours to complete your exam once you have began.
An e-card will be emailed to you. Please allow 7-10 business days for it’s delivery. Cards are sent out during normal business hours. If you have completed the test during non business hours your card will be mailed the next day.
Important information regarding this course: This is an online course. There are no materials mailed at the completion of your exam with the exception of your provider card. This course is 100% online. You must make payment prior to receiving your exam. This is a non-refundable course. You acknowledge that you have read all information regarding this course.
